President Biden and different politicians converse out on ‘horrific’ Buffalo taking pictures police say was racially motivated

President Joe Biden launched an announcement Sunday condemning Saturday’s mass taking pictures in Buffalo, New York, that left 10 lifeless, based on officers. 

“Tonight, we grieve for the households of ten individuals whose lives have been senselessly taken and everybody who’s struggling the bodily and emotional wounds of this horrific taking pictures,” Biden wrote in an announcement. “We’re grateful for the bravery of members of legislation enforcement and different first responders who took fast motion to attempt to shield and save lives. The First Woman and I are praying for the victims and their households, and hearts all throughout this nation are with the individuals of Buffalo.”

On Saturday, police say an 18-year-old white gunman traveled to a Tops grocery retailer in Buffalo and shot 13 individuals, 11 of whom have been Black. Ten individuals died, police mentioned. 

The FBI introduced they’re investigating the incident as a hate crime and as “racially motivated violent extremism.”

Different politicians took to Twitter to supply prayers and condolences to the neighborhood of Buffalo.

Senate Majority Chief Chuck Schumer tweeted Saturday that he provided assist to the Mayor of Buffalo. “Racism has no place in our state or our nation,” Schumer wrote.


New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand tweeted condolences, saying she would “combat” to implement gun security measures and “confront and defeat the scourge of white supremacy.”


New York State Senate Majority Chief Andrea Stewart-Cousins wrote in an announcement: “This focused assault towards Black Individuals shouldn’t be a brand new phenomenon on this nation, and now’s the time that we as a nation come collectively to confront this hatred.” 

Republican State Senator chief Rob Ortt referred to as the tragic taking pictures “heartbreaking.” 

“New Yorkers stand collectively in condemning this despicable violence,” Ortt wrote in an announcement.
